L1B to H1B conversion and Green card options

Hello Experts

 

I am working for Company A in US and currently on L1B status and my L1B expires on 20-Sep-2018.I also have an approved Consular H1B petition filed through Company A(same company) and it is valid from 01-Oct-2014 and 31-Dec-2015.I have never used my H1 approved petition since I already had a valid L1B Visa stamped.

 

Questions :

1.Can I use my H1B approved petition after Dec 2015 for Company X ?

2.If Company X is ready to process my GC, 

Can Company X use my H1B approved consular petition as Cap exempt, transfer to their name and start the GC process? If yes, Do I need to go out of US for H1B stamping or can I just stay back since I am already in US.

3.The transfer process , is this transparent or my current employer will get to know about this at some step?

4.Is it possible to transfer my Approved consular H1B petition  to Change of Status H1B through Company X and start working for Company X without stamping the visa?
