sacpis Posted September 26, 2015 Report Share Posted September 26, 2015 I have super simple question, I have H1B Visa valid till Jan 2018 and stamp on my passport. and my passport is expiring in next 5 month. I want to travel to India for 2 weeks, Is there be any problem while entering US because my passport is not valid for atleast 6 month. I know that for sure that for stamping we need passport valid atleast 6 month. but Do I need atleast 6 month. valid passport to enter to US? I have search all over internet some forum says you need some says you don't need. please help Link to comment
pingpong Posted September 29, 2015 Report Share Posted September 29, 2015 You mentioned that you have H1-B visa.... i would assume you have approval notice and need to a visa stamping. I would advice you renew your passport while in US (If possible in Tatkal) or while in India (Tatkal preferable) and then go for stamping. Link to comment
