Gap in Old and new I94 dates after H1 to L1 COS approval

My status has been approved and changed from H1B to L1A a couple of months ago.

Now I found that there is a couple of weeks gap between my old I94 (H1B) and new I94 (L1A Coversion approval). 

 

1. Is there an issue because of this lag in I94 dates?

2. Any implications in future visa/extension/GC processing?

3. If there is any based on question 1&2, what should I do to rectify this lag?

 

Please help me with the clarification.

Attorney has to contact USCIS and get it rectified.

1. Is there an issue because of this lag in I94 dates? >>> If its not rectified you must leave USA on I 94 expiry. The duration of two weeks that you stay will be unlawful presence.

 

2. Any implications in future visa/extension/GC processing? >>> You can face issues due to this two weeks unlawful presence in USA.

 

3. If there is any based on question 1&2, what should I do to rectify this lag? >>> your employer and employer attorney should approach USCIS for rectification.

 

If not then you must leave USA and avoid unlawful presence.
