Got munciple Ordinance violation for petit theft

In Sep 2014 I got munciple ordinance violation for petit theft from Walmart for $40

I got a court date in Oct

My immigration attorney work out a deal with prosecutor and we got pre trial diversion without any guily plea and case is dismissed (non suit)

Judge is not involve in anything even I never face the judge..

Now my question is ordinance violation will have any negative impact on immigration standpoint as this is just a finable offence as my citation said there is no possible jail time and my case is also dismissed without any guily plea..

i got pre trial diversion from DA and does not include plea. Once i complete diversion program my case will be dismissed.Will this be a problem for immigration?

Did u do the live scan to check ur record?

You need only certified court disposition document.. Also try to do the DOJ live scan from live scan fingerprinted centers.. Are u in CA? e m a i l me: century at tutanota dot com

Do I need to submit any other document than court certified disposition letter....?

Get a immigration lawyer memo opinion letter and certified court transcripts and disposition documents.. If you had a defense lawyer get letter from him too.. If u had diversion class take certificate of the class too. Are you going for visa stamping?

No I am not going for Visa stamping..just Visa extension within US

My citation is nothing but city ordinance violation ( no misdemeanor) and that too i am not convicted so Will I face any problem for Extension in US....?
