Visa Re Stamping required for H1 Amendments.?

Hi All,

This might be a known question or might have asked many times, but i dint find the stable answer. As you all aware that, as per the new rule if we change client location H1 amendment is neccssary. 

 

I have valid H1B visa stamp till Sep2016. After getting stamping, i recently changed the client but with the same employer, my employer filed New LCA and H1 Amendment. Now i'm planning to go india for couple of weeks. For re entering to US, do i need to go for Visa re stamping.?

No need for visa stamping but you need amendment approval to enter US.

Thanks for the info. I have one more question. If we in middle of the process for H1 amendment, can we go india and re enter.? or do we need to have approval for H1 amendment inorder to re enter.?

Approval is required at the time of re-entry unless you are really lucky to get in without that.
