H1B Renewal: Question on Visa Drop Box in Hyderabad

Hello,

 

I am currently on H1-B visa and in USA. The visa stamp on passport expired on sept 19,2014 but I have my H1-B visa extended till Jan 2017. Now I am planning to travel to India and I would like to know if I am eligible for Interview waiver or drop box option.

 

Per checklist:

 

I have no refusals for a visa in any class after my most recent visa issuance: I had an F1-visa denial in 2006 but a couple of weeks later I got it approved and no denials after that.I even got an H1-B stamped in hyerabad after that and thats my last issuance.

 

So am I eligible?

 

Also whats the difference between Interview waiver and Drop box option. Are they both the same?

If you fulfill all other conditions then you are eligible. 

Both are same.
