na99965
Hi, I am currently an F1 student in my OPT. My OPT will end in Jan 2016 and I also have a possible extension. I am planning to take a 1 week cruise to Carrebean / Bahamas in Dec 2015. I am currently employed. Will this travel cause any problems for my status? My OPT card says no re-entry to US? What documents will be required at the port of entry ? Thanks. Link to comment
jairichi
You need a valid F1 visa, OPT EAD card & other supporting documents to enter US. Link to comment
kcimmigrationlaw
If your OPT expires in January, it's not a good idea to travel outside the United States in December without an approved visa permitting your reentry. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Look up visa revalidation for F1 students. You can come back using AVR. Make sure to run this by your DSO. Link to comment

I have my student visa upto 2017, my opt expires in january'16 but I will be applying for extension in october'15. Do you think it might still create a problem ? Link to comment
