Hello,
How are you guys?

I previously worked in USA:
1. J1(June-Sep 2007)[212e rule DOES NOT apply.
2. Q1(Oct 2008-June 2010)-Extended in 2009.

After J1 i came back to India and completed my graduation.
Since 2010 i am in India only.

So I wanna ask is that am I eligible for J1 again?

Thank you.

@Jairichi..

Hey I am Hotel Mgmt graduate..passed out in June2008..and did Q1 in Sep.2008..so Exchange student

@medfreak....

I thought ...Q1 being standard visa than J1..and I entered US on Q1 so I cant step down myself to J1 again...??

That was at that time. Are you applying for a J1 visa as an exchange student now? I do not think so as I see that you have graduated and might be working now.

Hi

@Jairichi...I can file 'J1 trainee' which allows to spend 1 year in Home country and then can go back to US again..

But, after filing Q1...can someone file J1 is my question?Is it possible?

It s not you who can file. An employer who needs to have a trainee has to check whether they can have a trainee on J1. If it is that easy everyone will enter US as a trainee. Ask employer first to confirm with an attorney.
