H1 Transfer H4 Extenstion

Hi,

 

I recently transferred my H1 and got approval till May-2018. My wife's H4(I94) is valid till 2017 and it is with previous employer. Do I still need to apply for her H4 extension?

 

We are planning for India trip in November-2015? Can we directly go for the H4 stamping with out extending her H4?

Her H4 is based on you & not employer. So no need to file for extension. If her H4 visa is expiring by the time of return journey to US then get a H4 visa stamped.
