Successful visa stamping - Incorrect Start date

Hi,

 

I attended H1B visa interview in June 26th 2015@Hyd consulate and my visa is approved. 

 

I have 2 valid I797s one from Oct 1 2014 to Sep 30 2015 and an extension I797 from Oct 1 2015 to Sep 30 2018, for same employer.

 

In DS 160 I mentioned new I797. Now on the visa stamp, In the annotation section, it says ‘Not valid until September 2015’. 

 

I already sent an email to consulate about visa correction and waiting for their response.

Was anyone in this situation before and what would be wait time for the visa correction. Appreciate your response.
