abhinav1404
I see the new notification posted by USCIS for the H1b amendments. Here is my situation:1. Last year in Nov month my employer filled H1b amendment for my new client location and it got approved.2. This year in April my client got changed, I moved to a new project and a client.3. These are two different clients and locations but they come into same Metropolitan area and even the zip code is same for these location, they are apart by 4 miles.4. My employer has filled new LCA for this client and location.5. It seems what USCIS says that if relocation is on same Metropolitan area even if the clients are different then It doesn't need amendment.Do I need to file the H1b amendment ? Link to comment
rahul412
No need of amendment if its within MSA. Link to comment
Attorney_20
According to the USCIS guidance, an H1B amendment is not required if the new work location is in the same MSA / area of intended employment. But the guidance requires that the original LCA be posted in that new work location. Link to comment
