H1B Visa stamping - Amendment

All,

 

I travelled to India due to family member loss. I got my H1B extension with Client A with X location last year. I moved to Client B with Y location this year and Amendment is not done yet. My Client B is asking my employer for a replacement if I don't travel back within two weeks due to project criticality.

 

What are my options now

 

1. Can I go for stamping with out amendment with Client B location having client letter?

 

2. Can I ask my employer to look for new position and if the new position's location is not same as Client A location, do I need to wait until I get my amendment is approved?
