I485 Rfe: certified w2

Hi All,

I got a RFE on my I485 petition employment based. Uscis is requesting me to Mail "Certified IRS Form W2 transcripts". What does "Certified” mean?

Do i need to submit my W2 issued by the employer or something else?

Does anyone received similar kind of request ?

Kindly share what needs to be submitted?

It sounds like USCIS is asking for you to contact the IRS for a transcript from them of your W-2 information. You may need to call IRS for this information as some online request functions of their website may be disabled due to the recent theft of personal information, as reported in the news.
