mzn102
Hi guys, I got a white 221(g) for an H1B stamping from the delhi consulate. The letter only asks for the passport and has the box "Other: Additional Processing" checked. There is another sheet I was handed that has instructions related to sending some documents by email. Now, at the visa interview they kept my passport. I have already sent the documents requested by email. My question is, do I need to submit the 221g letter too since I did not have to submit any documents physically? Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated. It has been a few weeks and I am trying to rule this out as a reason for the delay in receiving my visa. Thanks! Link to comment
mzn102
For anyone in a similar situation, the answer is yes, but electronically is fine. I called up the number on the 221g letter and they gave me an email address to send the 221g letter to. The email address is the local support email address. Link to comment
