USADreams
I see following question on DS-160 . Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action? 2.5 years ago over matrimonial disputes I was falsely accused by my ex-wife for 498a (Dowry Law) . 2 years ago police used to arrest every person a woman says abused her without any proof . I was arrested only for 3 hours and got the bail . All charges were fabricated and after fighting case for 2 years as she wanted to get married again we did a mutual consent divorce and I was acquitted from all charges by court . Do I have to answer the question as yes and provide an explanation ? Will that cause denial of visa ? Thanks Link to comment
jairichi
Answer is YES. This will not result in denial. Link to comment
