Unbelievable
Hi, I am on H1B. I changed the employer before going to India. I have visa stamping with my old employer. When I am coming back, at the port of entry the entered the old visa dates on my i94. My old i797 valid till sep 2016 but my new I797 valid till next May. Is this an issue when I am applying for H1b extension? Thanks Link to comment
jairichi
A H1B extension has to be filed before I94 expiry or you could exit and enter US with a valid H1B visa and I797 to get I94 till next May. Link to comment
