ManojManda Posted May 8, 2015 Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 Currently I am on H1 and working. Now in order to H4-EAD. i need to transfer to H4 first and wait till i get EAD(Aprox. 3 months). My question, Is it possible to take unpaid Leave or leave without pay during EAD Processing(Is it Legal, as i guess i will still get benefits like insurance and so if i am on unpaid leave) Or what is the best possible way not to loose job during this transfer from H1 to H4-EAD Thanks Manoj Manda Link to comment
sameertupe Posted May 21, 2015 Report Share Posted May 21, 2015 I have my H1 extension in hand till 2017. But we applied for my wife's H4 in Feb and still have not received the 797 approval. While we are waiting for the approval should we go ahead and apply for H4 ead? Link to comment
