F-1 OPT with job offer; travel abroad

Hello,

 

I am on F-1 OPT starting from June 1st 2015. My I-20 signature is less than 3 months old.

My F-1 visa is valid thru Aug 1st 2015. I have a job offer and will start the job on July 1st 2015. 

 

I want to travel abroad for a month in June. I think it should be safe to do, but can someone (with first hand experience) confirm? What exactly does the boarder officer ask when you enter the US?
