rajeevvarmau
Hi All, I was in the US on a F1 visa from 2001 to 2003. In Dec of 2003 I had come to India to attend my sister's wedding. After the wedding in Jan of 2004 I had gone back to the US. After going back I got an offer to work as a Working Partner at a gas station and I took it, not knowing that my visa would expire. I had stayed in the US without a visa till Dec of 2008 (that was when I was deported). During the deportation procedures the judge mentioned that I can apply for a visa after 3 to 7 years. The judge also mentioned that there was a warrant on my name and I remember that I had a speeding ticket from 2004 in Tennessee which I thought I had paid as I had sent out a check to the Tennessee court. I do not have any proofs of the check sent. I am currently in India working and I planning to apply for a visiting visa to the US. Do you think I should apply or not. Also I want to apply for a green card, is it possible Thank you. ****** Link to comment
