nirdes
Hi, Employer A has filed a greencard application. Employer B is going to acquire employer A. What happens to greencard application filed with employer A in following 2 scenarios 1) Perm approved and I-140 in process at the time of acquisition 2) I-140 approved at the time of acquisition Does greencard application has to be filed again with employer B starting from PERM ? JoeF
If employer B is a successor of interest of employer A, i.e., if they bought all assets and liabilities of employer A, the I-140 just has to be amended. The company HR and their lawyer would know how to handle that. Link to comment
