ad2010
Hello, My current H1B Visa stamp and Petition (both from my current employer) is expiring on 02-July-201. Recently I got extension petition valid from 03-July-2015 till 02-July-2018 approved. I want to go for stamping on end of May. I know that I can go for stamping with two petitions. My question is that: Is anyone went to stamping with two petitions from current employer like me and got visa till the end date of extended petition? I am asking this question because H1B visa period will more that 3 years (from May End till 02-July-2018) Thanks, AD Link to comment

shekar11#
Yes. You will get visa with an end date of new petition. I did this in 2014 and had no issues. In DS-160 u need to fill new I-797 number. Carry both I-797's. Link to comment

infomiser
Hey, This is to both @ad2010 and @shekar11#. Did the visa have annotation of both petition numbers? If not, could you travel back to the US before the "10 days before new petition effective date?" Thanks Link to comment
