Mathew123
Hi, Your Advice needed. I have a EB3 with a PD of Oct 2011 filed through company A. Company agreed to file EB2 for me for a different role with different skill set which i have. (I am the only employee with work visa here - 200 employees ) However I was told the porting from Eb2 to Eb3 would have certain risks. the position A(current) will have to be closed and Position B opened. Also the Pre-Filing process of collecting candidate resume is now done by a 3rd party appointed by USCIS and not by employer. And this could pose the risk that my resume does not make it to the shortlist. In which case i would end up loosing my job. Is this true? Has the recruiting process of resume shortlisting been farmed out to a 3rd party for Porting cases ? This was not the case for my EB3 and other Eb2 filing which i have heard so far. Your help is much appreciated. Regards Mathew Link to comment
JoeF
If there are qualified Americans or LPRs applying for the job, you wouldn't lose the job, the GC process can't go forward,.though. Link to comment
