My online I-94 still shows the old Visa/I-797 expiration date

Hello,

I had last entry in US on March 2014 on H-1B visa. My visa and I-797 bothe were expiring on Febraury 2015.Now, In October 2014, I did amendment/extension and approved until September 2017 but I-94 still shows the old visa date of February 2015.

 

Is that an issue?

Do i need to fix that to go to CBP office or It would be taken care while reentry in US?

Hello All,

I went to CBP office and they confirmed that you do not need to make correction in online I-94. Your current I-94 attached inside to your I-797 is good to prove your legal presence in the US. You Online status will automatically be udated while you make a re-entry to the US.
