Need advise on travel with current visa

Hi,

 

1. My wife is on H4 visa having on old passport.Recently she got her passport renewed with married last name change in USA.Can she travel to India with visa stamping on old passport having old name?

2. Her H4 visa is valid till september,2015.Does she need to go for stamping?

3. Can she travel in June and be back August?

4. If i apply for extension,can she alone travel with my new approved I797 copy to India?

5. Can she use dropbox option in India for her H4 visa renewal?

It will be better if she goes for stamping since there is a change in name.

Hi,Thanks for the reply. Can you be more specific whether its mandatory?

Can she alone go for stamping with my new I797,which i would be applying soon and me staying in usa? or 

Is it mandatory that i should be getting stamped first with new H1B and only then she gets H4?
