Nabil2008
Hey Guys !! I arrived the U.S. on a new H1-B Visa (versus my prior J-1 Visa) on 3/12/2015. My port of entry was Newark, NJ however live in New Haven, CT. For some reason, my last I-94 entry is still listed as my J-1 and it hasn't been updated to my current H1-B visa. Please advise what I should do because I need the I-94 as soon as possible. Should I call/visit the Newark airport for some kind of correction that needs to be made or can I visit the Deferred Office in Hartford, CT? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated !! jairichi
You just arrived in US. Wait for more days (like a week) and look for an update. If not updated contact the local CBP office. Link to comment
Nabil2008
Hey Jairichi, Thank you for the prompt response. Would the CBP office I would need to visit be the one in CT (where I live) or the Newark Airport Office (which was my site of entry into the country). Also, I arrived on 3/12/15. Today (3/23) marks the 7th business day. Just worried that something is amiss. N You just arrived in US. Wait for more days (like a week) and look for an update.
