EB1(c)...self file 485 after i140 approval.

Hello,

Can i file my eb1© multi national manager I140 with my employer but later upon 140 approval...file the i485 by myself i.e. not file my 485 by my employer though i will continue to work with the same employer ?

Will there be any issues in this ? If it will not be any problem then What sort of documents would i still need from my employer ? will i need any documents from my employer for my spouse who is on h4 with me in US?

My employer is a large mnc.

I don't know. I never filed 485.

You need employer blessing for filing i-485. Remember GC is for future job. When there is RFI, employer may need to issue a letter confirming the employment availability.  -Sam
