ad2010
My current H1B visa stamp and petition expiring on 05-July-2015. Recently I filed H1B extension and got 3 yrs extension till 05-July-2018 with I-94 (exp 05-July-2018). I want to go for stamping. How soon can I go for stamping? Thanks AD Link to comment
shekardd
I am in the same situation. Can someone lean in on this? Also, is it necessary that you go to your home country in the same situation with change in employers. Link to comment
shekar11#
I went 90 days before my current stamping. Did not have any issues. No need of going to home country for change of employers. Link to comment

ad2010
shekar11# - Thanks for sharing the info. One question: You went for stamping before 90 days of expiration of your current stamping. Was your extension was for 3 years? If yes, then did you get stamping till end date of your extended petition? I may be wrong , but heard somewhere that consulate cannot issue visa more than 3 years. In your case it would be for 3+ years if you got 3 yrs of extension. Link to comment
