kmarella
Hello Experts, I have a strange situation now, I was working on H1b and processed my GC (Currently have an I-140 approved), Now the situation is that last year when I have applied for my H1b extension I got it for 1 year and which will be expiring June 2015. Now my current project is being shifted to offshore, where as I wanted to continue here, my question is if my client does not provides me with a client letter and if I have to go back and then get some other project and comeback here, now my question is, while working from offshore, can I still process my GC thru consular process? if so what is the process for that. Please help. I still have 2 years of H1b validity out of my 6 years quota. Thanks Kris. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Yes, subject to your employer (GC Sponsor) allowing you to do so. Link to comment
rahul412
GC is for future employment so yes, your GC processing can be continued. Link to comment
