H1B Approved without I94 with I797B and consulate mentioned CHENNAI.

Hi,

 

I am working for A company and company B did new H1B petition, it's got approved without I94 with I797B on Dec 22, 2014 and 

 

In I797B the consulate mentioned is CHENNAI.

 

Now i am thinking to go to vancouver. canada consulate for visa stamping am i eligible ? or compulsory i have to go chennai for visa stamping.

 

I also  have valid US visa stamping with company x till Dec, 2015.

 

If i travel canada , just to get my I94 and at Port of entry if i show my I797 B will get I94 based on my I797B validity.

 

Please advice me which is safe.

Why are you going for visa stamping when you have a valid H1B visa. Just cross the border and enter with a valid H1B visa and new I797.
