pd5009
Hello all, My I-94 is valid till the date my visa stamp is, however, I had a change of employer OUTSIDE the USA, hence, I did not get new I-94. On my entry to USA, I recieved I-94 which is valid only till the visa expiry date; and not the date on my I-797 which is 1 year later than the present date. I know going for CBP office is one option, however, I also plan to tour Canada next month and wanted to know if I could correct this while re-entering USA by showing proper documentation to the visa officer at immigration? (My I-94 is valid for next 4 months, so should be returning back to USA when old I-94 is still valid) Link to comment

abd59
Hey, I'm in the same boat. I did not show my new petition since I was only asked for my passport. I have a valid i94. Link to comment
abd59
The only difference is that my change of employer petition was done in USA itself. I went to Canada for 2 days, came back. I wasn't asked for my i797.Only my passport. Online in the i94 it shows my most recent entry date correctly. Link to comment
