Help needed about I-130 and I-485 Process

Thanks for helping out people around. Few things I like to check. I'm US Citizen and going to marry my boyfriend who is on H1 visa and wondering about few questions, please put some light on this, 

 

1. What’s the process time for I-130 and 1485? 

2. Is Interview part of the process for 2-Years conditional GC?

3. I'm not working and he is on H1, he working as IT consultant, any other form needs to submit with I-130 and I-485?

4. Planning for Wedding in India as his and my families are from there. Do i need to take care about any steps before or in wedding will be in india? Other Than Marriage Certificate

You can file concurrently I-130 (Petition) / I-485 (Status adjustment) / I 765 (Employment) / I-131 (Travel during petition) / I-693 (Medical examination) / I-864 Affidavit of Support / G-325A Biographic info

2. Is Interview part of the process for 2-Years conditional GC?

You guys will go through interview now (for conditional). you'll also have to go through another interview later while removing condition.

3. I'm not working and he is on H1, he working as IT consultant, any other form needs to submit with I-130 and I-485?

I have mentioned all forms above which are needed; you case will be little complicated since you (petitioner) is not working. You may need joint sponsor (like brother etc.)

4. Planning for Wedding in India as his and my families are from there. Do i need to take care about any steps before or in wedding will be in india? Other Than Marriage Certificate

Marriage Certificate is enough. Try to gather more docs like below :

o Certified copy of divorce orders or death certificates— for any prior marriages of either spouse

o Birth certificates of any children resulting from the union

o Bank statements for checking and/or savings accounts showing account(s) are shared by both spouse

o Rental receipts or agreements showing both names

o Auto insurance and registration showing both names

o Credit card statements with names of both spouse as joint holders

o Copies of marriage announcement and/or marriage photographs 

o Photos of the couple together, and with family and friends

o Affidavits from friends or relatives who know both spouses and can verify the validity of the relationship

I-864 A. His salary will be enough to satisfy the guidelines. Even if you do not earn his salary can be used.
