Tust326
Hello All I got a new job and the company has started the H1 transfer process. They are insisting if I can start before the H1 transfer is complete. I was wondering if it is safe to do that? What kind of problem would there be if there is any Thanks for your response. ashuneel
If you join new company before H-1b is approved and then it is denied you will be out of status. upgrade to PP if you are concerned. People join new company all the time based on receipt notice. You have to decide based on your knowledge of the documents and credibility of the new company. Link to comment
JoeF
If the company is a consulting company, there is a real risk of the H1 transfer getting denied. For real companies, it is pretty safe. But there is never a guarantee. Link to comment
jairichi
Never do that. Join after approval as there is always a possibility of denial and then you are in trouble. If they need you that urgent then they can file it in premium processing. Link to comment
