halo22
I work for a non-profit cap-exempt research organization. Currently I am on STEM OPT which will expire in June 2015.My organization is filling an H1B petition for me within the next 2 weeks. The following is my education background. Bsc Biotech (3 yrs degree INDIA)Diploma in Bioinformatics (1yr INDIA)Master's in Bioinformatics (USA)~24 month OPT work experience in Bioinformatics. My current job requires a Master's in Bioinformatics. (I believe the H1 will be filled based upon my US Masters)My question is since my Bachelors was not a 4 year degree program, will this cause any issue with my H1B?Please let me know if more clarification with the question is required. Thanks Link to comment

halo22
@rahul412: Why would a credential evaluation be needed? My Master's degree is more relevant to the job. Link to comment

halo22
I got my approval notice last week. USCIS didn't ask for credential evaluation of my Bachelors. Thank you all for your input. Link to comment
