Submitted I-539 two months back.. No acknowledgement from USCIS yet..

Hi,

 

I have a question regarding my dependent's I-539 (H4).

 

My new employer had filed my H1B transfer petition and my dependent's I-539 in November 2014. Recently my H1 transfer got approved but till date neither me or my employer received any acknowledgement from USCIS regarding I-539. All the documents (I-129 and I-539) were mailed together to USCIS. 

 

We tried to call USCIS customer service center but they were unable to lookup the case for I-539 submitted by my new employer. The cheque provided along with I-539 is not encashed yet. We did not get cheque return or cancellation notice as well.

 

What are our next options? Is there any way we can get the receipt number for I-539? Its more than 2 months now from the day we submitted the documents, how long we should wait? Can we resubmit I-539 with all the documents?
