Hi All,

Can anyone of you please let me know if I can continue to work ?

My EAD is expiring on 01/19/2015. (NO H1B)   applied for renewal past 70 ago. I have valid I94 and the date on I94 is 1/1/2016 ( on 1/2/2015 entered US and was issued new I94 )

I9 FORM required valid I94 and Passport. So with EAD expiring can I continue to work?

I thank for your time and responses.

Thanks,

Two ways to get expedited. Because I did it so. (Case was pending for 1 month 20 days and started this and about to expire soon)

1. Spoke to USCIS officer and he directed me to go to Local Field office to get temp work pass- First day

2. Local office do not have an authority to do after i met them in person(Info pass). Sent an email to USCIS after getting advise from local USCIS field office. - No luck. because it needs some ticket number- Third day

3. Spoke to USCIS customer service second time and informed them that I got a letter from employer saying that I'm not allowed to work after EAD expiration - After explaining my severe impact on my job, Officer agreed to expedite by asking some question from the system(One is financial loss) - You can check the expedited ticket online on your case registered online- Fourth day

4. Next day I also met congress man to speed up the process and they spoke to USCIS officer. Senate rep faxed letter(employmet termination got from my employer) to USCIS - Fifth day

5. Case approved - 5th day.

- Hope this helps

Hi,

My spouse's EAD expires this month Feb 2015. Her L2 also expires this month but her I94 is valid until Oct 2015.

1. Can she apply for an EAD extension based on her valid I94 status or does she need to wait for my employer to renew my L1A and her L2A?

2. Since my I94 is valid till Jan 2016 my employer will file an extension only sometime in May or June.

Is there another option?

Thanks,

Vijay
