Going to H1B Stamping to India(HYD)

hi Guys,

 

I'm travelling to India next week and I will be going for H1B Extension Stamping in India.

 

My issue:

 

I applied my h1B extension for 'X' Client and after getting the approval, I switched to Client 'Y'.

I did not get my H1B Ammendment done after moving to Client 'Y'. Would that be a problem?

Yes, you need an amendment approved before you go for H1B visa interview.

You probably need a ammendment.

I'm in the same boat, I'm doing my amendment

I spoke to attorney, they told we should file amendment if we are going for stamping.

My attroney also suggested me to file Amendment , filed amendment on Nov second week, my Amendment is approved 2 days back.

H1 amendment= new H1(but cap exempt), so it will be the same processing time. 15 days in PP.
