Processing L1A and H1B parallely

I am currently outside US and my current employer is planning to process my L1A.

I am planning to file H1B as well through another employer.

 

 

Queries

1. Is it legal to parallely initiate the processing of L1A and H1B?
2. Does the existence of one petition affect the approval decision of the other?
3. Assume, the following is the sequence in which the petition processing happens

• L1A is applied first
• In March 2015, H1B application will be submitted

1. Would the H1B application cause any problem when I go for L1A stamping? I am expecting that L1A stamping would happen around May/June 2015. H1B might or might not be approved at this time
2. Does the H1B petition approval get affected due to the L1A which is also under processing
3. Assume H1B petition is approved and I am going for stamping the H1B. Would the L1A(which would have been stamped by now) cause any problem for H1B stamping.

Please advice me on the right approach.
