wetflamingo
Hi, I am with company A (A big name) on H1-B starting Oct, 1st 2014 Now I have an offer from company B (Another big name) My H1-B is filled under premium and I got receipt number on Dec,13th 2014 Company B want me to resign from A now and give 2 week notice and start working for B ASAP. All my documents are clean and there is no issue with them. Please suggest 1. How safe it is to resign from A and join B without approval. 2. Anything else that I need to be aware of in this scenario. Please help urgently, I need to submit my resignation today. Checked multiple sites and I understand that its legal to do this, but need to understand the risks and possible impacts. Regards, Link to comment

wiweq
Do not join the company till, H1b is 'completely approved'. Save your back, as the company they will always like you to join asap. Tell them clearly, you don't wanna take any risk. Though papers are clean, you cannot say anything about how their attorneys are dealing the papers. Don't let them rule you, clear it in logical way.
