Visa stamping and H1B amendment

Is there any way to change the receipt no, end date as per I797A after booking a slot for visa interview.

I have my approved I797 and I'm filing my ammendment with extension.

Is there a way I can book a slot in jan with old I797A and attend with new I 797.

Please suggest.

I didn't get my H1B ammendment and extension yet. So I don't have the new receipt no yet.

My existing I797 expires in 9/30/2015.

Can I book an appointment with old I797, I may get new approval in a week or 10 days.

Can I chnage it to new I797 after booking a slot in India.

I have to attend visa interview in Jan.

Hi Satish,

 

  You can use your current valid I797 to book your appointment. When you go for interview show both I797s to VO. Nothing to worry.
