kal123kum
One question in reference to the driving citations, please help with below information- 1) My wife has one 'No Turn on Red" penalty for $85.00, we sent the check to the county and closed it. Is this something that needs to be referenced in N400. Also is this an issue while applying for Naturalization? 2) I have been living in US for 19 years (student, H1 and GC) and had drivers licence from 3 states. The latest one that I currently have is from a state that I am currently living for last 10 years. For previous states, I contacted them and they are unable to provide driving records as the data requested is old and they don't retain information for such long period. How can I handle this situation as I have 2 speeding tickets from each of the 2 states. - I don't recollect the exact amount paid as fine as this happened 8 -9 years ago. Thank you. Link to comment
JoeF
Moving violations, like speeding, red-light tickets, etc. have to be reported. You don't need documentation if the fine is under $500. If you don't remember the exact fines, say so on the application. Nobody will rip your head off because of that ;) Link to comment
