Planning to send invitation letter to my Father's cousin brother for his visitor visa.  Can i send the invitation letter for his visitor visa ?

If one knows the person being invited well enough, s/he can extend an invitation. It may also be noted that in many instances, the visa officers rely on information presented on the visa application form and what is stated at the interview to make a decision on the application. The person extending the invitation generally provides supporting documents to evidence his/her legal and financial status in the U.S.

Thanks. He is planning to visit tourist spots in US and he already traveled many countries in Europe. He has very strong financial background in INDIA and he is ready to submit his financial status. Planning to extend my invitation for his stay in my home and any emergency financial support.

In that case he does not need any documents from you.

he can enter your information in DS-160. you can still send invitation letter as supporting document.

I just missed the part that you are planning to host. In that case an invitation letter would be enough. It would be better for him to book a hotel for his stay at the time of visa interview. In this way there is no need for anything from you. After getting his visitor visa he can cancel his hotel reservation and then stay with you during his travel to US.

It is you who is inviting him and so it has to be you.
