patnaikp
Hi, My current H1B Visa has expired on Sept 5th 2014 and I have got my extension (same employer) for 3 years on July 1st 2014 valid from Sept 6th. I travelled outside US on July 3rd 2014 but I did not have my latest I797 since it was in transit. When I re-entered US on July 20th on current Visa I got a new I-94 valid till Sept 4th 2014 as I did not have approved I-797 with me at POE. My current H1-B is expired. The I-94 on my new I-797 expires on Sept 4th 2017 but the latest I-94 has expired on Sept 4th 2014. I am planning to go to Mexico in Jan 2015 and want to stamp my H1-B visa. Will there be any issue? Will the last action act cause any problem? Should I get the I-94 rectified at the airport? Thanks P Link to comment
ashuneel
No need to rectify. The I-94 on your new I-797 expires on Sept 4th 2017 which is what counts. Link to comment
