Temporary Birth certificate issue

Dear Forum Members,

 

Hope you can help me with a dilemma I am facing. I was born in Saudi Arabia but my parents returned back to India (home land) when I was a few years old. I have a temporary birth certificate issued by Directorate General of Health affairs, Birth registration office. I have given it for translation but most of the writings are illegible. 

 

Would it be sufficient if my mother gives an affidavit (she is in India right now) saying that I was born in Saudi Arabia. I don't have any contacts back in Saudi to get any kind of documents from there. Please advise on what kind of documents or additional supporting documents I can provide to ensure that my 485 processing goes without any trouble.
