Non availability of birth certificate required?

I applied for my father's GC. As part of birth proof we submitted an affidavit from his elder cousin showing his DOB (my father is 77)

 

Do I also need to arrange for "non availability of birth certificate" in addition to this?

 

I got an RFE with regard to his application, but that was related to my marriage affidavit. I have recently responded to that.

 

Will they ask for NABC at the time of visa interview ?? Or will just the affidavit suffice?

Hi,

 

Did you have any issue for not having "Non-Availability of Birth certificate" proof?   I am filing for my parents as well and they don't have this document.  They have multiple affidavits through.  Would appreciate if you can get back on this at the earliest convenience.
