Deportation / 5 year ban on B1

My B-1 visa got cancelled at the port of entry in the US Boston - reason being frequent travel and CBP not believing that I am not working in the US. I was also given 5 years ban under 212(a)7(A)iI

Will this visa rejection affect my  H1B visa if I get selected this time in the lottery? Do I stand a chance to apply for H1B in 2015?

 

What is my company's responsibility in this matter? Do I need to serve the entire ban or are there any circumstances under which I can get a waiver. I read about 212(k) waiver.

 

I am at peak of my career, 5 years will be too much to sideline my career.

If you have a ban, you can't get an H1.

A B1 is for attending meetings and the like, not for working in the US.

Obviously, you need attorney. No one knows what exactly happened.

You should discuss the matter with the firm of Murthy or any of your choice.

Yes, the ban prevents you from entering US in any visa category for 5 years. H1B can be filed next year but your visa will not be issued due to ban. Talk to an attorney.
