DS160 for F1 Visa at Chennai Consulate, India_No option to upload digital photograph

I am filling out DS-160 form to apply for a non-immigrant US visa (F1) and plan to attend the visa interview at the Chennai Consulate. While filling out my DS-160 form, I have not been asked to upload my digital photograph. 

 

Is the photograph not needed now or did I do something wrong?

You are fine. They will take a photo of you during biometrics.

The photo is not needed now. It will be taken when you go to the ASC appointment.

No worries. Photo will be taken during Biometrics at OFC. 

 

 

PS:Of late I heard a news reg a technical issue during Visa interview that the e photos were not getting transferred correctly. To make things robust, you can even take 2 copies of a physical photograph for your Visa interview.
