Time line I 485 AOS to finger printing & GC

Hi,

Could you please let me know the current processing/expected timelines.

 

I have filed EB2(India)  AOS this week and would like to get some heads up on the timelines involved.

 

Finger printing

 

EDA/GC based on current understanding

Your FP would be scheduled at least 1 month from the date USCIS receives your application.

EAD / AP - would be sent to you between 60 to 90 days. Don't be surprised if it takes full 120 days.

GC - Next year.

GC can't be approved unless the priority date is current. EB2 India dates are retrogressing in November and no advancement is expected before June 2014.

Could you please suggest best option to travel out of country while GC/EAD is in process. I have valid H1 for next 2 years and would like to understand if I could use H1 to travel  back while I wait for EAD/GC.
