abhi.aleti007
Hello, I have an arrest record(Battery) which got expunged. I would like to find find out what documents I need to carry related to that arrest record. I have all the documents including 1) Order To Expunge signed by judge 2) Certified copy of disposition 3) Letter from Department of Law enforcement stating that the case has expunged. 4) Certificate of eligibility to expunge 5) community service and anger management course certificates 6) Deferred Prosecution Agreement 7) Arrest Report from the police 8) Report Filed by State Attorney etc. But I was not sure what documents to carry and what documents to show them? I do not want to show them the 7) Arrest Report from the police, because the police wrote the false info in the report, if VO read that I have a doubt that I will be trouble. I explained that to my attorney and case was dismissed by the court and the record is also expunged. I do not want VO to see no.7. I want to know that if they ask arrest report or not? Can anyone please respond to this post who have attended H1B visa interview with the arrest record and help me with your experience. I can be reached at abhi.aleti007@gmail.com. Thanks, Abhi Link to comment
JoeF
For immigration, records are never expunged. They can see all records, including the expunged ones. Link to comment
