alliedHealth01
I had a question on relocation reimbursement. My H1B from H4 was filed by my employer and the offer letter contained clause for a) A two year commitment (no penalty on termination though) b) Sign-on bonus & re-location reimbursement. Unfortunately my employer chose to terminate me without notice within the first month of employment while I was still in probation. I was not paid the reimbursement / sign-on bonus yet. I was wondering if I am entitled to claim relocation (because I moved to different state for job) and sign-on bonus even if my employment was terminated within a month. Is the company entitled to the commitment made in offer letter to repay reimbursement / sign on bonus? Help would be much appreciated. Link to comment
JoeF
That's not an immigration issue, it is a labor law issue. Discuss the situation with a labor lawyer. Link to comment
