Successful Stamping at Hyderabad Consulate

Hello All,

 

My stamping at Hyderabad Consulate went through successfully.

 

Here are some facts of my case:-

1. Did my masters in US.
2. Last visit to INDIA on F1 more than 7 years back and haven't visited since
3. First time H1B stamping
4. Got my I-140 approved
5. EVC Model

These are the questions at the interview:-

 

VO: Give me your passport

Me: Handed over the passport

VO: Looks at her system and asks what do you do - what is your role ??

Me: I am YYYY

VO: Do you work directly for the Company - asks me to put fingers 

Me: I work for the Client

VO: Who is your client

Me: ZZZ

VO: Types in her system and asks where is located

Me: I say XXX

VO: says "Next" (meaning you are done)

 

Overall the interview would have lasted for 3 minutes.

 

I want to say a big "Thanks" to Murthy Forum and all it's Members for being so helpful. It was a great relief to have got my stamping done.

 

FYI: Please do not take Sealed Envelopes. They would ask you to remove it and it is a jolly waste of time doing it. They ask you to leave and come though the security check point again. I took some sealed envelopes and had to open the seal.
